ANNIE
Breed: Rottweiler Mix
Adoption Fee: SPONSORED
by Atheneum Cider in Saginaw TX
Annie is a 60lbs Rottweiler Mix who is “9 years old” but acts like she’s 2 or 3! She is crate trained, potty trained, and even knows a few commands!
Where do we start?! Annie didn’t get the memo that she’s a senior. She loves running and playing. She is amazing at catching balls. She would make an amazing running/hiking buddy. She loves car rides and going on adventures. She knows sit, shake, and drop (the ball or toy). She is an amazing cuddle buddy. She will sleep in her crate at night but if you let her in your bed, she will find a spot (next to her human is preferred) and fall fast asleep. She loves giving kisses and getting belly rubs. She’s a really happy girl.
She doesn’t mind a bath - in fact she will jump right into the bathtub. Annie is still working on her leash training, she hasn’t figured out that leisurely strolls are fun too! She is very treat motivated, so she will be great after some training walks.
She played in doggy play groups at the shelter, so we believe Annie is friendly with others, but we always conduct a meet and greet and home trial prior to adoption to make sure pets get along well! She has been to a few farmers markets and she was very good with kids, especially babies!
Annie needs a loving and preferably active retirement home. Could that be you?

ROXIE
Breed: Aussie Mix
Adoption Fee: Partially Sponsored - $300
Roxie is a 1 year old cattle dog mix who currently weights about 40lbs.
She is potty trained, knows her basic commands, and is doing great on her crate training. She’s very smart and working on new commands like “place”.
She loves her toys, especially squeaky balls. She will happily join you for a pup cup date. She is good with other dogs as well!
This girl is seriously SO much fun!
Roxie’s foster described her as affectionate, friendly, smart, curious, and athletic. While Roxie does enjoy some lazy couch time, she is a high energy gal who loves to go for adventures and run and play in the backyard. She would thrive in a home with a backyard to run and play in and with someone who can give her the physical and mental exercise she needs!
She still has puppy energy, and is working on perfecting her manners. She just gets so excited to say hello that sometimes she jumps up to say hi, therefor a home with young children may not be the best fit, but has done very well with kids over 8.
Roxie is seriously the sweetest, happiest girl around and would love to be a part of your family

VELMA
Breed: Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix
Adoption Fee: REDUCED to $100
Velma is a 1.5 year old Cattle Dog Mix and weighs 42lbs! She will need a very special and patient home who will accept her as she is. She is such a joy and so special! Her adoption fee has been reduced!
Velma was a challenge to catch according to animal control, but so worth the effort. She is a sweet girl who was so scared she had to be carried from place to place, but she has put in the work to gain confidence! While she is now comfortable with her foster mom she will need a home that is willing to give her time to readjust to new people and surroundings.
She is potty trained and quickly does her business when taken outside. She is kennel trained and while sometimes hesitant to go in, she will go for treats or peanut butter.
Velma loves to play with her foster sister, loves to toys (but not her kennel teddy bear) and is trying to learn paper and books aren’t dog toys. Velma will do best with another dog in the home to show her the ropes!
She currently goes outside on a leash, but with a slow introduction and and gaining trust, she would enjoy a backyard. She will require a secure yard with a tall fence and patience to help her continue to work on becoming more brave and confident!
We don’t want to sugar coat it, Velma is very special and may need accommodations when she arrives to her new home, such as being carried sometimes like she did when she first got to her foster.

KODA
Adoption Fee Partially Sponsored: $200
Breed: Alaskan Malamute/Husky Mix
Age: 3 years | Weight: 63 lbs
Koda is a stunning husky/malamute mix who is ready to find her forever home! Unlike many huskies, she’s a low-maintenance girl, perfectly content with a short walk or some yard time before heading back inside to enjoy the AC.
Koda is crate trained, walks nicely on leash, and is potty trained. She’s gentle, curious, and independent, making her an easy companion who doesn’t demand constant attention.
That said, Koda will do best with structure and boundaries. She can be protective of her food, toys, and favorite spots, so she will need a confident adopter who understands how to manage resource guarding or is open and willing to learn. Feeding her in her crate and skipping couch privileges will help set her up for success. Because she can be protective of her things with other dogs and is a bit too interested in cats, she will do best as an only pet in the home.
Koda is also a true beauty queen! With her gorgeous coat, she’ll need regular brushing to keep her looking and feeling her best.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who enjoys a calmer lifestyle, Koda may be your perfect match. She’s ready to share her love and personality with the right family!

PHOENIX
I NEED A FOSTER or ADOPTER!
Breed: Cattle Dog/Pit Bull/Husky
Adoption Fee: Sponsored
Age: 1 year | Weight: 50 lbs
Phoenix is the perfect mix of chill and playful. He is just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is romping around the yard. He’s incredibly people-oriented and always ready to match your energy, whether that’s a lazy Sunday or an active afternoon.
In his foster home, Phoenix enjoys playing with female dogs or medium to small male dogs, but he always does best with slow introductions to new dog friends. His protective nature makes him unsuitable for a home with children, but he will thrive in an adult-only home where he can feel safe and loved.
With his sweet eyes and signature prance, Phoenix is guaranteed to steal your heart. He’s vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to find his forever home.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cuddle hard and play harder, Phoenix is your guy.

ROCKY
Breed: Great Dane Mix
Adoption Fee: $400
Age: 1 year
Weight: 72 lbs
Rocky is a gentle giant with a soft heart and soulful eyes. At just a year old, this sweet boy is already potty trained, crate trained (his crate is his happy place!), and incredibly well-mannered. He’s great with other dogs, and is kid and cat friendly. He is a calm, low-maintenance companion.
Rocky is pretty shy when he first meets you, and will need someone patient who’s willing to let him come out of his shell, but once he trusts you, you’ll have the most loyal friend you could ask for. He’s a great listener, loves spending time outside, and thrives in a peaceful environment.
If you’re looking for a quiet, kind soul to share your life with, Rocky is your guy.

WILLIE
Adoption Fee: $400
Breed: Corgi/Australian Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix
🐾 Meet Willie! 🐾
Willie is 25lbs, 2 years old, and suspected Corgi/Heeler/Aussie mix! He is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, Heartworm negative, and ready for adoption!
Willie is the goofiest, sweetest heeler-mix you’ll ever meet! He’s never met a stranger and loves greeting anyone who’s willing to give him pets (and maybe a treat or two)! Once he bonds with you, he’ll happily stick by your side, but if he has something to focus on (like a bone or a treat-hiding puzzle), he’s perfectly content doing his own thing.
Willie gets along well with most other dogs and is always up for playtime. When he’s not zooming around, you’ll find him curled up beside you or entertaining himself with his toys (he’s learning to enjoy his independence)! Of course, if it were up to him, he’d spend all day playing, soaking up attention, and eating unlimited treats.
Because of his natural herding instincts, Willie would do best in a home with no young children. He’s still learning some of his basic commands, so he’ll need someone patient and consistent as he continues to grow.
Willie walks nicely on a leash and is practicing commands like sit, stay, and down. He loves nestling up on the couch or bed if he’s allowed. While he’s not the biggest fan of going into his crate, he’ll settle down quietly in it overnight and eats his meals there too.
All in all, Willie is a loving, goofy boy who just wants a home where he can play hard and love big!

BLUEY
Adoption Fee: $450
Breed: Australian Cattle Dog Mix
6-month-old | ~30 lbs | Spayed Female
Bluey is a playful, goofy, and lovable pup with all the charm you'd expect from a young Blue Heeler — plus a few extra quirks that make her completely irresistible. She's got puppy energy to burn, but once she's had her playtime, she settles down into a total snuggle bug.
She loves people of all ages, is great with kids, gets along well with other dogs, and is curious but respectful with cats. Bluey is crate-trained and uses a doggy door like a champ. She knows how to "sit," and is working on “lay down” and “paw.” Like many pups, she still pees when she gets overly excited.
Bluey is obsessed with toys — and she’ll proudly show you her growing collection (which sometimes includes a foster kid’s toy or two!). She’s also a fridge-door enthusiast, showing up instantly when she hears ice cubes drop — her favorite snack.
She’s a Velcro dog through and through — always at your feet, following you from room to room with a big doggy grin. Like many heelers, she may try to herd young children during play, so ongoing training and supervision are important.
Bluey is still learning the ropes, but she’s incredibly eager to please and loves attention. She’ll thrive in a home where she gets lots of love, consistency, and playtime. In return, she’ll give you unwavering loyalty, laughs, cuddles, and a whole lot of love.

TOBY
Adoption Fee: $400
Breed: Chihuahua
Toby is the sweetest, gentlest soul. He is 2 years old but still a puppy at heart, so he can be clumsy, is playful, and loves to walk and jump, but he is also a couch potato who just wants to be loved on and snuggled. He is extremely affectionate and is not afraid of asking for snuggles.
He just wants his people to be happy, so he really does try to do what you ask him to do - or not to do.
He does pull on a leash, especially when he first starts a walk, but he's easy to manage and does quickly calm down. He just wants to sniff and explore!
Toby has separation anxiety and just wants to be where you are. He's happiest when he's following you around or sitting right next to you. He enjoys being with other small dogs and loved spending time together. He is also potty trained!
Toby deserves the best loving home. He is a precious pup!
