  • GILLY

    Breed: Shepherd Mix

    Adoption Fee: $400

This 4-year-old Shepherd mix is on the hunt for a foster or forever home! Gilly is full of happy, goofy energy and loves to swim, play, and soak up life.

    The Details:

    • Friendly with female or smaller male dogs

    • Cat & Kid-friendly

    • High-energy adventurer who’s always ready for fun

    • Still working on potty & crate training (he had lots of downtime after foot surgery!)

    • Neutered, vaccinated, microchipped & heartworm negative

Gilly is the kind of dog who will make you laugh daily with his silly antics and then steal your heart with his cuddly side!

  • HAZEL

    Adoption Fee: $450

    Breed: Hound Mix

Hazel is a happy, 7 month old, 40lbs, energetic girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She loves to play, stay active, and be right in the middle of whatever is going on. Attention is one of her favorite things, and she truly enjoys spending time with her people.

Because Hazel can be vocal at times, she would likely do best in a house rather than an apartment. It’s part of her expressive nature and just one of the ways she communicates excitement and curiosity. 🐾

When she’s ready to relax, Hazel loves lounging on the arm of the couch, giving kisses, soaking up love, and watching TV with her people. She’s full of love and ready to bring joy to the right family.

Hazel is dog friendly and does well with other dogs, although she is still working on learning a balance between too much excitement, and being nervous of other dogs at first. With a little time to come out of her shell, she does amazing! Hazel sometimes can be protective of her food around the other dog in her foster home, so she usually prefers to eat her food in private away from other pets in the house. (We sure can’t blame her for that!)

No cats please! Hazel currently lives in a foster home with a cat, and she likes to chase them a little too much and try to play with them like she would a dog. I mean, how is she supposed to know the difference?

Hazel understands that pottying is done outside and is excellent at letting you know when she needs to go, (but she does have occasional accidents due to excitement)!

She knows basic commands including “sit”, “lay down”, and “crate”. Hazel is crate trained like a pro and sleeps like a baby in her crate consistently! She is working on leash walking and doing great, but is a little skittish still and will need continued work to gain confidence in new environments!

  • WILLOW

    Breed: German Shepherd

Adoption Fee: Waived ~ Special Needs

Willow is a gentle, loving 12-year-old German Shepherd who hasn’t let age or 3 feet slow her down one bit (in spirit). At 75 lbs of pure affection, she’s the definition of a loyal companion and certified couch potato with a playful, youthful spark!

This girl is a total dream to live with, fully potty trained, crate trained (but doesn’t need it), walks beautifully on leash, uses the doggy door well, and knows plenty of commands. She’s very obedient, sweet, and playful with her toys on her own. She’s friendly with both large and small dogs, as long as they’re calm and respectful of her space and toys when she’s playing with them.

Willow has the cutest habits! She’ll roll onto her back to get brushed (and gently ask for “more please”), follow you around the house to supervise your daily tasks, and greet you with her sweet little “awooo” when she wants love. Snuggles, pets, and being close to her person are her absolute favorite things in the world.

Despite her three-footed strut, Willow gets around wonderfully and enjoys exploring, lounging, and being part of whatever you’re doing. She’s calm, quiet, smart, affectionate, and so incredibly easy to love.

If you’re looking for a gentle soul with a young heart and a whole lot of love to give, Willow is your girl.

Willow does not have an adoption fee, as she is considered special needs, but our requirements for her adoption are the same as everyone else!

  • VELMA

    Breed: Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix

Adoption Fee: SPONSORED by Jennifer L!

Velma is a 1.5 year old Cattle Dog Mix and weighs 42lbs! She will need a very special and patient home who will accept her as she is. She is such a joy and so special! Her adoption fee has been reduced!

Velma was a challenge to catch according to animal control, but so worth the effort. She is a sweet girl who was so scared she had to be carried from place to place, but she has put in the work to gain confidence! While she is now comfortable with her foster mom she will need a home that is willing to give her time to readjust to new people and surroundings.

She is potty trained and quickly does her business when taken outside. She is kennel trained and while sometimes hesitant to go in, she will go for treats or peanut butter.

Velma loves to play with her foster sister, loves to toys (but not her kennel teddy bear) and is trying to learn paper and books aren’t dog toys. Velma will do best with another dog in the home to show her the ropes!

She currently goes outside on a leash, but with a slow introduction and and gaining trust, she would enjoy a backyard. She will require a secure yard with a tall fence and patience to help her continue to work on becoming more brave and confident!

We don’t want to sugar coat it, Velma is very special and may need accommodations when she arrives to her new home, such as being carried sometimes like she did when she first got to her foster.

  • KODA

    Adoption Fee Partially Sponsored: $200

    Breed: Alaskan Malamute/Husky Mix

    Age: 3 years | Weight: 63 lbs

Koda is a stunning husky/malamute mix who is ready to find her forever home! Unlike most huskies, this gorgeous girl is surprisingly low-maintenance. She is perfectly content with a short walk or some yard time before heading back inside to enjoy the AC.

    Koda is:

    • Crate trained & potty trained

    • Walks nicely on leash

    • Gentle, curious, and independent

    • Loves a calm routine and her personal space

Koda is a smart, loyal companion who thrives with structure and boundaries. She can be protective of her food, toys, and favorite resting spots, so she’ll do best with a confident adopter who understands or is open to learning about resource guarding. Feeding her in her crate and keeping her off furniture are great ways to set her up for success.

Koda will need to be the only pet in the home, no cats or other dogs, please! She promises to be the best girl for someone who wants to give her all of the love!

If you’re looking for a loyal, chill companion who loves a cozy, structured life, Koda could be your perfect match. She’s ready to love hard and shine bright in the right home!

  • PHOENIX

I NEED A FOSTER or ADOPTER!

    Breed: Cattle Dog/Pit Bull/Husky

    Adoption Fee: Sponsored

    Age: 1 year | Weight: 50 lbs

Phoenix is the perfect mix of chill and playful. He is just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is romping around the yard. He’s incredibly people-oriented and always ready to match your energy, whether that’s a lazy Sunday or an active afternoon.

In his foster home, Phoenix enjoys playing with female dogs or medium to small male dogs, but he always does best with slow introductions to new dog friends. His protective nature makes him unsuitable for a home with children, but he will thrive in an adult-only home where he can feel safe and loved.

With his sweet eyes and signature prance, Phoenix is guaranteed to steal your heart. He’s vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to find his forever home.

If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cuddle hard and play harder, Phoenix is your guy.

  • CHEDDAR

    ON HOME TRIAL

    Breed: Labrador Retriever Mix

    Age: 12 Weeks Old

    Adoption Fee: $450

Cheddar is only available for local adoption in DFW at this time, and is ready to leave as soon as Wednesday, January 14th! Cheddar’s adopter MUST be able to attend his last vet appointment in Arlington, TX to receive his rabies vaccine at 14 weeks old (last week of January).

Cheddar is a 12-week-old white Lab mix weighing in at around 15 lbs of pure puppy joy. He’s the perfect mix of sweet, silly, and smart with just a little mischievous streak to keep life fun!

This playful little guy absolutely adores people and dogs of all sizes and is always excited to make a new friend. Cheddar is affectionate, curious, and loves giving kisses. He’s already crate trained, sleeps through the night like a champ, and even knows a few commands. He’s also learning how to let his humans know when it’s time for a potty break!

True to his Lab roots, Cheddar takes his two favorite hobbies very seriously: playing hard and eating well. If food is involved, he is extremely interested.

Because Cheddar is still a very young and energetic puppy, he can get mouthy during play. For that reason, we’re looking for a home preferably with older kids (6+) who can help guide him as he continues learning good puppy manners, no kids is fine as well.

If you’re looking for a fun-loving, affectionate puppy who will keep you laughing and fill your home with love (and maybe a little chaos), Cheddar is ready to be your new best friend!

His rabies vaccine will be done at 14 weeks at our vet in Arlington, included in adoption fee. He is required to be neutered before 8mo of age, included in adoption fee at our vet in Garland, TX.
