PETEY
Petey is a 5-year-old, 10-pound Chihuahua with a big personality packed into a tiny body!
He’s crate trained, fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and heartworm negative. He is all ready for his forever family. Petey may start out a little nervous, but once he feels safe, his quirky and spunky side comes out. He LOVES zoomies in the backyard, soaking up attention, and playing with dogs of all sizes.
Petey is also kid-friendly, his foster says he absolutely adores children and thrives on their affection. He’s respectful of other dogs’ space, happy to play when invited, and content to snooze quietly in his kennel at night.
He’s still learning a few things, like leash walking and not leaping straight into your lap without warning, but he responds quickly to gentle correction and is eager to please.
If you’re looking for a small but mighty companion who’s equal parts cuddle bug and goofball, Petey is your guy!

ANNIE
Breed: Rottweiler Mix
Adoption Fee: $150
Annie is a 60lbs Rottweiler Mix who is “9 years old” but acts like she’s 2 or 3! She is crate trained, potty trained, and even knows a few commands!
Where do we start?! Annie didn’t get the memo that she’s a senior. She loves running and playing. She is amazing at catching balls. She would make an amazing running/hiking buddy. She loves car rides and going on adventures. She knows sit, shake, and drop (the ball or toy). She is an amazing cuddle buddy. She will sleep in her crate at night but if you let her in your bed, she will find a spot (next to her human is preferred) and fall fast asleep. She loves giving kisses and getting belly rubs. She’s a really happy girl.
She doesn’t mind a bath - in fact she will jump right into the bathtub. Annie is still working on her leash training, she hasn’t figured out that leisurely strolls are fun too! She is very treat motivated, so she will be great after some training walks.
She played in doggy play groups at the shelter, so we believe Annie is friendly with others, but we always conduct a meet and greet and home trial prior to adoption to make sure pets get along well! She has been to a few farmers markets and she was very good with kids, especially babies!
Annie needs a loving and preferably active retirement home. Could that be you?

ROXIE
Breed: Aussie Mix
Adoption Fee: Partially Sponsored - $300
Roxie is a 1 year old cattle dog mix who currently weights about 40lbs.
She is potty trained, knows her basic commands, and is doing great on her crate training. She’s very smart and working on new commands like “place”.
She loves her toys, especially squeaky balls. She will happily join you for a pup cup date. She is good with other dogs as well!
This girl is seriously SO much fun!
Roxie’s foster described her as affectionate, friendly, smart, curious, and athletic. While Roxie does enjoy some lazy couch time, she is a high energy gal who loves to go for adventures and run and play in the backyard. She would thrive in a home with a backyard to run and play in and with someone who can give her the physical and mental exercise she needs!
She still has puppy energy, and is working on perfecting her manners. She just gets so excited to say hello that sometimes she jumps up to say hi, therefor a home with young children may not be the best fit, but has done very well with kids over 8.
Roxie is seriously the sweetest, happiest girl around and would love to be a part of your family

VELMA
Breed: Shepherd/Cattle Dog Mix
Adoption Fee: REDUCED to $100
Velma is a 1.5 year old Cattle Dog Mix and weighs 42lbs! She will need a very special and patient home who will accept her as she is. She is such a joy and so special! Her adoption fee has been reduced!
Velma was a challenge to catch according to animal control, but so worth the effort. She is a sweet girl who was so scared she had to be carried from place to place, but she has put in the work to gain confidence! While she is now comfortable with her foster mom she will need a home that is willing to give her time to readjust to new people and surroundings.
She is potty trained and quickly does her business when taken outside. She is kennel trained and while sometimes hesitant to go in, she will go for treats or peanut butter.
Velma loves to play with her foster sister, loves to toys (but not her kennel teddy bear) and is trying to learn paper and books aren’t dog toys. Velma will do best with another dog in the home to show her the ropes!
She currently goes outside on a leash, but with a slow introduction and and gaining trust, she would enjoy a backyard. She will require a secure yard with a tall fence and patience to help her continue to work on becoming more brave and confident!
We don’t want to sugar coat it, Velma is very special and may need accommodations when she arrives to her new home, such as being carried sometimes like she did when she first got to her foster.

KODA
Adoption Fee Partially Sponsored: $200
Breed: Alaskan Malamute
Koda is a sweet 3-year-old Malamute who's got a mellow, easygoing personality. She's a low-energy girl with great manners. She is happy napping the day away-but she still makes time for a good chew session with her Nylabone or a squeaky toy (she's a master at de-squeaking them!).
She absolutely adores people and will happily flop over for belly rubs anytime. Koda is super friendly, gets along great with other dogs, and is cat-safe too! She might jog after a cat if it runs, but if the cat is chill—no drama from this girl.
Her only little quirk? She doesn't love sharing food or chews with other dogs, so she should be fed and given treats separately. Easy fix for such a good girl!
Koda is spayed, up to date on vaccines, but is currently going through heartworm treatment.
• Her final injections are scheduled for August 27-28—and don't worry, the treatment is completely paid for and already scheduled.
All she needs now is her last injection and a cozy forever home!

PHOENIX
I NEED A FOSTER or ADOPTER!
Breed: Cattle Dog/Pit Bull/Husky
Adoption Fee: WAIVED
Age: 1 year | Weight: 50 lbs
Phoenix is the perfect mix of chill and playful—he’s just as happy snuggling on the couch as he is romping around the yard. He’s incredibly people-oriented and always ready to match your energy, whether that’s a lazy Sunday or an active afternoon.
In his foster home, Phoenix enjoys playing with other medium-to-large dogs, but he does best with slow introductions to new dog friends. His protective nature makes him unsuitable for a home with children, but he will thrive in an adult-only home where he can feel safe and loved.
With his sweet eyes and signature prance, Phoenix is guaranteed to steal your heart. He’s vaccinated, microchipped, neutered, and ready to find his forever home.
If you’re looking for a loyal companion who will cuddle hard and play harder, Phoenix is your guy.

ROCKY
Breed: Great Dane Mix
Adoption Fee: $400
Age: 1 year
Weight: 72 lbs
Rocky is a gentle giant with a soft heart and soulful eyes. At just a year old, this sweet boy is already potty trained, crate trained (his crate is his happy place!), and incredibly well-mannered. He’s great with other dogs, kid-friendly, and a calm, low-maintenance companion.
Rocky is very shy right now and will need someone patient who’s willing to let him come out of his shell on his own time — but once he trusts you, you’ll have the most loyal friend you could ask for. He’s a great listener, loves spending time outside, and thrives in a peaceful environment.
If you’re looking for a quiet, kind soul to share your life with, Rocky is your guy.

OAKLEY
ON HOME TRIAL
Breed: Ridgeback/Black Mouth Cur Mix
Adoption Fee Partially Sponsored: $200
Sweet Oakley is such a lover! He is 1 year old and 45lbs. His favorite thing is cuddling up on the couch with you. He also enjoys a good PorkChomp chew! He enjoys romping in the yard, and does well in his crate, going in on his own. He may whine for a bit, but settles in quickly. He is potty trained!
He does well playing with other dogs after a proper introduction, but may be possessive of toys and food. Feeding him in his kennel will easily remedy it! He would love to call your couch his! He is good with small and large dogs as well as older kids! He does best with confident cats or no cats!
